ANNUAL TRAINING MEETING

The 2008 Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary Training Meeting will be held at the
Rosen PLAZA Hotel, 9700 International Drive, Orlando, Florida,
Thursday, July 17, 2008 through Sunday, July 20, 2008. All FHP and FHPA
attendees will process State of Florida Voucher for Travel Reimbursement forms
for approved expenses. Forms and instructions are available for download in the
document library folder "2008 ATM" on the FHPA website. Reimbursement for
expenses such as hotel, mileage in personal vehicles and state meal per diem,
will be made via this process. Meal reimbursement is limited to $36.00 per day
(breakfast/$6.00, lunch/$11.00, dinner/$19.00). Receipts are not needed for
meal expenses. Units may advance funds to attendees, however all reimbursement
will be made to attendees completing vouchers and submitting individual hotel
room receipts.
HOTEL INFORMATION: Members are responsible for making lodging
arrangements directly with the Rosen Plaza Hotel. Reservations should be made
ON-LINE by contacting the hotel at the number listed below, reference
"Florida Highway Patrol". The conference room rate is $95.00/night double
bed/occupancy. Attendees (FHPA and FHP) are responsible for reservations
and payment for lodging expenses. Reservations should be made before Sunday,
May 11, 2008. Reservations after cut-off date will be accepted based on
availability at the group rate. Deposits are refundable if individual
reservations are cancelled at least five (5) days prior to arrival.

ATM REGISTRATION: All FHP and FHPA attendees must register and
submit registration fee of $125.00. Registration fee includes meeting
material, lunch and awards banquet meal. Units may pay registration fee for
attendees.
MEALS: Lunch and awards banquet meals are included in the
registration fee. Breakfast is available (on-your-own) in the hotel at Café
Gaugin, Reds Deli or nearby restaurants. Lunch and banquet tickets are
available for spouse and guests by pre-purchase. FHPA Units may purchase meal
tickets in advance for spouse/guests (Café Gaugin and Eds Deli are at the CENTRE not at the PLAZA.)
AWARDS BANQUET: Banquet is included for registered FHP and
FHPA attendees. Additional tickets for spouse/guests are available by
pre-purchase only.
